Do you need your cpu?Just.waiting said:Ok. I'm going to make a pledge:
I, Just.waiting shall hereby study from 4 to 6. (we have dinner at 6, so I can't really change that) Then I shall study from 7 to 11.
That's 6 hours as well as the additional hours I've already done completed.
And, if I go on BOS tonight, or any social netwoking site during the duration of my study period I shall buy premium membership to anyone that catches me out.

You would think that it would. I really don't know what is going on with myself. Before STUVAC I was studying easily 6 hours a day. And that's on top of school. On weekends it was 8 to 10. Now that it actually matters, I can't be stuffed.NEVAGIVEUP said:Shouldn't the fact that you want to succeed in your HSC be enough motivation to study?![]()
Well if it is not, than bribe yourself; tell yourself "If i memorise one essay before so and so time, i will let myself spend 1 hr socialising" - or whatever picks your fancy.
Just Study; you'll look back and thank yourself!
Geez, if you studied that much before you should have everything down by now anyway.Just.waiting said:You would think that it would. I really don't know what is going on with myself. Yes but I'd feel lazy not studying. Mainly because everyone else is, so I know that I should be too.veloc1ty said:Geez, if you studied that much before you should have everything down by now anyway.
Oh i hear you; you work your fingers to the bone through out the year but, as the essential time arrives you couldn't give a stuff. I know how that feels, its unbearabley annoying!Just.waiting said:haha. I was. And I did get them memorised. yay!!!
I'm so tired now though. I have a week until my next exam. I think I might take it easy this afternoon - then get back into tomorrow.

I think I'll just start spending more time at the library over the next week. I always study really solidly there. The problem is, at home I'll be studying but nothing will 'sink in'. I wish they opened earlier. Our stupid local library doesn't open until 9.30, and if I wanted to go elsewhere I would have to add about another half an hour onto the trip.
Anyways, I'll stop being a whiney bitch now and get on with it.
In one week I will have a social life!!!!! OMG!!!
It most certainly is and that's how I'm feeling at the moment. My teachers and friends are saying "...Come on, a few more weeks..." but no matter what they say, I still can't get myself pitching to what I want myself to do.NEVAGIVEUP said:Oh i hear you; you work your fingers to the bone through out the year but, as the essential time arrives you couldn't give a stuff.
