Someone famous worth researching (1 Viewer)

Who do you reckon?
Have some English assessment and we need to research someone famous and find two texts about them. Then, of course, write an essay comparing and contrasting the texts.

Any ideas for who I should do? 'Cos I'm stuck :S

No problem. By the way, I just realised that it may be a little too hard to decipher who these people are juts by their surnames:
John Steinbeck
Charles Dickens
Arthur Miller
Ernest Hemingway
John Le Carre (my favourite)
Agatha Christie
PD James
Jules Verne

Another few good names that come to mind are:
Bryce Courtney (sp?) - Especially The Power of One
Baz Luhrmann (Director) - he has pretty good movies that give you stuff to write about, English-wise
