I'm just amazed that someone from Fairfield has good taste in music...
Asylum's choices are good... However, I think you should turn Ashlee Simpson's "pieces of me" into an acoustic "indy" sounding tune. T'would be cute.

anything by the darkness, with accompanying air guitar
yeah i agree, the darkness' "i believe in a thing called love" is a great song acoustically if you could also hit the high notes.

It's also an easy song to learn on guitar also :p

try this song..

since it has "3 years" in it, and you're in a situation for 3years too

enjoy!

RUFF ENDZ - WILL YOU BE MINE

Baby Love, I think its time now
to share with you these feelings that im feeling now
its been three years since ive known you
nothing but happiness since ive found you
its been a long time coming still going strong
through good and bad weve been holding on
within my soul its been overdue
cause my hearts been longing to ask you
chorus:

will you be mine on this day
will you be the sun shining may
will you be the stars and my nights
will you be the joy, the joy in my life
will you be my everything
will you be the happy every song i sing
will you be the love i cant deny
will you be the love, the love of all time
will you be mine

when i think about how it all began
i was looking for fun but somehow we became
Good friends
We couldnt see this fate that lied ahead
or that we would ever bond like we did

i praise the day my fate was revealed
now i know that destiny is real
is it a sin for love to feel this good
i dont think but im asking you

chorus

im down on my knees to vow to you
my everlasting love because its overdue
for all the times we shared and those to come
is ever still coming
this ring is a token of my love with you

chorus

:p emo = pick any random song from an emo band.

majority of them would really be either a) about breaking up b) wanting a girl c) being a loser

ive got a few filo band but english lyrics songs that fit really well, if you are really desperate :)

Emo is short for "emotional" but it's a genre of music that exploits peoples emotions, it's really a rather general word and general genre, I mean, very few songs aren't about some type of emotion.
Emo songs are usually about love, breaking up, being depressed etc... Shit like Dashboard Confessional, Bright Eyes etc etc

I'm surprised someone from Fairfield isn't an RnB fiend.

Thirsty Merc - Wasting Time... although it doesnt really fit into emo but the lyrics are cute.

Now you know
My thoughts about where I would like the story to go
I feel that if you'd really like to play it cool we should do it, do it, do it

Well.. I'm seeing my guy this friday night (hes coming around here for some drinks with a few other friends).. and I'm so damn nervous it's not funny.. Which is stupid, because I've never been nervous around him before. Anyways.. I still don't have a song, so keep them coming.. I'm thinking along the lines of "The rocket summer - that's so you", but I dunno if I could hit some of those notes.. I'll give it a go now.. Thanks again everyone!
