Just wondering do any of your spare units that don't get counted to your atar e.g. not top 10, can they affect your atar in any other possible way? Like if i got band 5 for all my subjects then got a band 1 or 2 for religion and it doesn't count(11th unit), can it in anyway indirectly impact my atar?

Nope - if they arent amongst your best 10 units then they have NO impact on your ATAR.
