Ok, I'm asking (again) for a Japanese section for uploaded notes, but I'm depending on you guys to upload anything and everything you can. The old stuff may still be there, and as soon as my exams finish I'll get onto checking and authorising those.

Please, submit your notes!

Yeah everyone has 2 unit Jap. on the day after trials.

Though my teacher is email the guy who organises our trial timetable and asking if he can try and organise it so we have the majority of our exams in the first week not the second. She does it every year cos we've only got a small class, but it depends on what subjects we do. I reckon I'll get screwed cos that's the only subject I have with any of them except english.

I realised that after next week, when i have no exams, i have exams every school week until term 3 week 6. Hooray... i cant wait :)

Im lead to believe that if people like me have unlucky subject selections, there has to be people out there who chose the perfect ones to save them from stress... Id like to meet these people :)

Ok, I have to say this- My HSC timetable is totally rooted.
I have my 2U Jap HSC speaking exam on a saturday of the week that I have a Trial Exam every day.
i had that too, except it was my extension speaking. it gets a bit stressful, but with japanese you can get heaps far with just knowledge and not that much cramming. (although cramming helps too haha)

2u speaking is seriously textbook conversation tho

you should have some sort of course outline with like all the diff. topic areas etc, just go through that and think of lots of things that you could be asked, get answers prepared etc.

we got a booklet, i've been through most of it so far. also, record yourself on tape and then listen, you might pick up on a lot, like pauses and small mistakes. they definately stand out more...

i've been looking at the http://hsc.csu.edu.au, the japanese speaking questions are pretty good. are they the same standard as the ones in the question booklets you guys all got except me and arisu? :D

Well, you haven't DONE the HSC yet so you haven't got to the punch line. You'll understand in about four months. ;)

it's all comparative, with these institutions (particularly uni) it's all about how much work you want to put in. i don't think anyone who really worked during the hsc would have found it easy.

Ouch, Toodulu, don't hold that one over me. The final exams were much easier than the trials. At uni, the finals are the hardest task of all.
