Speeches and (how crap they are)! (1 Viewer)

dont actually do a speeches hehe
but a friend doing it told me they had to remember like... 12 speeches and some of them were up to 6 pages long! Is that actually true?!

i think 2 of them are lyk 10 pages line.....i read one of them out and took meeh 40 osmething minutes.....its bloody ridiculous....

hey don't stress too much! It is quite difficult, and some of the speeches are VERY long, but you dont have to learn them all in detail, and its not like you have to remember the whole speech!

You have to know about 3 in detail (and thats really just like heaps of quotes, techniques, and a few core ideas), and for the rest you just have to know a little bit about them IN CASE they specify which ones to write about in the HSC. My teacher said just to learn a few techniques, ideas, and quotes for all the other...just enough so you can talk about them for a little bit!

They are very tedious to get through though! Grrrr

I think they're talking about speeches as in the text that they have to study
