Was wondering if anyone can help me
what would you talk about when analysing the structure of the speeches?
esp for sadat and suu kyi

Im trying to find out the same thing!
I think they mean like intro and main body etc but im not sure what they want to know about the intro and main body...
UGH! so confusing :(

ha I'm so doomed for Eco, Ms King still hasn't read my essay.
Suu Kyi's ones set out like an exposition?
Just a intro, body and conclusion with new point every paragraph?
I dunno what else to say about the structure though.

Chronological/ascending ladder structure.
Upbeat & encouraging intro – created by positive, emotive words ‘wonderful’, ‘splendid’, ‘greatest’ – congratulates the women who have organized the forum.
Uses 3rd para to outline main ideas.


Sadat - Systematic listing > conveys what he wants, when and how.
