Eek. I cant work out how to do this question:

The spherical distance between two points on the surface of a sphere is 80cm. If the sphere has a radius of 45cm, find the angular distance between the two points.

anyone know how to do it?

I know how...it's simple. The 80cm is an Arc length. You use the Arc length of a circle formula that's on the formula sheet, by substituting l=80 and r=45. btw Q=feta
80=Q/360 x 2 x pie x 45
80=Q/360 x 282.7433388
80/282.7433388=Q/360
80/282.7433388 x360 =Q therefore, Q=101 degrees :) hope this helps
