Hey, I'm planning on doing Spirited Away as one of my related texts for imaginative journeys, can anyone give me any idea of what i should be looking for? I'm using Kubla Khan and Rime for my Coleridge poems.

Im doing Spirited away, i think youlle find its very popular this year. Although i think My Neighbour Totoro is a better text.
Ill give you a start, but its a pretty easy text.

First thing, "Fantastical" - Brilliant word to use in imaginative journeys, All the monsters and creatures are Fantastical, look for these fantastival elements, and how the movie creates the image of "magic creatures"

This is Chihiros journey, What problems does chihiro face outside her world, and how are they tackled inside her imaginative world.

Anyways, if your doing the tempest as wel some things to dwell on.
Both worlds are surrounded by water = Isolation
Both worlds bend the conventions of reality = Imagination - Fantastical element
No Face = Caliban

That should be enough for now
