Just a quick question...... anybody got their subjects organised for Spring semester? I'm finding it pretty hard just to find enough subjects for Spring, even though I have a billion subjects available to me in the Autumn.

Yes, my draft timetable has been organised, I'm doing:

1) Accounting 1B (If I didn't fail 1A :p)
2) Marketing
3) Microeconomics
4) Foundation Law B (If I didn't fail A :p), and
5) Contract Law

I should be going to uni from Monday to Wednesday. (Wednesday 1:30 finish?)

Im doing:
Foundations of Law B (if I pass A!)
Contracts (again, if I pass foundations A!)
Microeconomics
Introduction to Management and employment relations
Business Communications

Well, thats the plan so far, and I can get it into two days (monday and tuesday) no worries. I might change microeconomics to history though, still yet to decide on that one....

Well looks like I'll be scraping something along the lines of:

STS116 Environment in Crisis: Technology and Society
EESC210 Social Spaces: Rural and Urban
ACCY102 Accounting 1B
EESC208 Environmental Impact of Societies

May reduce that to 3 subjects considering what the work load and timetable works out to be.... it seems a bit cruisy nonetheless.... I'm taking a semester off from economics, mostly because I'm suffering from economic overload.

Bah, after more admin issues and changes in timetables, It looks like I'm enrolled in these:

STS116 - Environment in Crisis: Technology and Society
EESC208 - Environmental Impact of Societies
ECON309 - Environmental Economics
LAW334 - Environmental Law

It looks a bit like an environmental semester this spring...

I'm actually planning to replace STAT131 (or JAPA110) with an STS subject. All depends on receiving this email from the Arts sub-dean.

Either do STS116 or the one explicitly about computers. I'm not sure.

Hey nice, I'm doing exactly the same subjects except I've got IACT202 (Structure of Telecommunications) instead of CSCI205 :)

I've put myself in part time slots and haven't had a problem even though I'm full time. It's more of a deterrent but unless things have changed, I don't think they can stop you enrolling in those slots.

Econ111 is a gimme subject if you've done HSC Economics, if you haven't, it still is a 'easier than some' subject to pass.

And for Mark101, turn up to all the lectures and make sure you get the lecture notes because if you have Venkat (which you most likely will), he'll be a bastard and only post skelleton slides on the net, and the exams will cover stuff only taught exclusively in the lectures.... it's part of their approach to improve lecture attendences.

Thanks for the advice ~~ I really need the part -time slot so I dont have to come an extre day for 1 hr Accy workshop~~ just a question ~~ my prefrence overlap between subjects~~ what happens if I get 2 at the same time?

I did Eco in HSC and hopefully will breeze through like BUSS another gimme subjects

And I'll hopefully turn up to the MARK lectures ;)
