Are there any people who have some serious knowledge of sports such as soccer, horses, dogs, basketball and can pick out bets that are almost a 'sure thing' on a regular basis?

My mate and I are starting an online gambling forum where we share bets, so far we have the following sports covered:

Boxing
Kickboxing
Mixed Martial Arts (our speciality)
NFL

NRL and AFLwhen they start again.

We can't cover all the sports and there's no way in the world you'll get me sitting through soccer games or reading about them, so we need people to cover other sports like soccer.

Anyone like staz interested? In return, you'll get to see our selection on the above sports if you provide consistently winning picks that make money. Our record for betting on combat sports is 87% correct over a year and a half, so you do the sums. :)

They're are heaps of soccer fanatics on this forum I'm sure u can find someone.
Damage Inc was very good with the horses but he doesn't frequent the forums much anymore, and I doubt he'd do it anyway.
I'm a mug punter so I'm no help, i just do it for the enjoyment, i probably lose as much as I win over time.

Soccer has the problem of 3 possible results. Same as Ice Hockey. Whilst they have better returns, I lose a lot with them. I sometimes take a punt on $2 returns but it ends up being a draw which can be a $6 return at times.
Cricket can be a good one. I put $30 on australia for the next test at $1.20 from memory.

My mate does NFL.. I use his picks.

He picked the Colts to win, the Vikings to win over the weekend.. He's picking the Packers to flog the Detriot Lions today... I've taken them to win, plus with the spread of 6.5

I'm waiting for stazi when NRL season starts :)

Regardless of odds, I like the look of:

Yoshida over Ogawa - by sub in R1.

Fedor over Zulu Jr - Fedor's an invincible robot, he fucks this guy up however he wants regardless of the weight advantage of over 70kgs I think it is.

Bennet over Kaneko - Kaneko is an actor making his debut fight against someone 13-10-2 in front of 100 000 people, no way he pulls this off... Bennet by TKO.

Aleksander Emelianenko over Pawel Nastula - Alex way too big & strong to get taken down, with much better stand up to KO this guy fairly quickly.

Nog over Sakuraba if it gets signed - Nog's way too big and heavy for sak who should be fighting at middleweight, not heavyweight.. plus, Sak's old, has a terribly lazy training ethic, chain smokes like no tommorrow and has taken some beatings in the ring which has never left him quite the same.

Other possible bets:

Arona over Silva - fought before with Arona being too big & strong for Silva getting on top and g&ping him for a decision. I predict it will be much the same the second time around as Silva is looking old in his last few fights and doesn't have the came confidence or aggression that helped him to become a champ.

Crocop over Hunt - hell, Hunt's coach is my affiliated instructor down in Sydney... he doesn't have the skills or student base that Hunt needs to get to the top in MMA and beat guys that are top 5 like Crocop. Hunt has a puncher's chance and could possibly KO Crocop, but they've fought before in K1 with Crocop winning... Crocop wins in conditioning, striking, MMA - much more experience, better training ethic, so Crocop probably wins a decision by staying on the feet & striking, or taking Hunt down to lay and pray a decision win.

Busta over Hendo... they've fought before with Henderson landing an uppercut as Busta shot in less than a min into the round to KO him. But despite being a well timed punch Busta takes Henderson downs and runs a clinic on his ass this time to get the win. Busta's got some of the best takedowns in the game, taking down Chuck Liddel, Matt Lindland who both have wrestling backgrounds.. MW is a division he truly owns and will be the champ of. Hopefully Busta will come in as the dog in this fight, definitely worth some $$$ on.

Gomi vs Sakurai and Nak vs Kondo are fights I don't want to touch as they could go either way.. although, there will probably be pretty good odds on these fights for both fighters.
