hey i was wondering if someone could help me in explaining what thing matches with etc..

i understand that
the gender is a binary thing

but wat is

Grade in stat
UAI
School type attended

are they continuous, nominal or ordinal i just not sure in them as i think one is ordinal but dunno...

1. ordinal , there is a logical basis for the ordering of the categories. (1=HD, 2=D, ...)
2. continuous
3. nominal - arbitrarily order categories (private, public, single sex, etc)
