Orford or Gower... Johns has done absolutely NOTHING to secure this spot...
He should of gone to union.
yeh i know ey? he hasnt had much game time as well cos of the injuries. I reckon hed retire end of the season cos hes getting so susceptible to injuries, plus hes getting real old. Union would be too much for him as well.

This is why NSW will win.

*NSW has never lost at Telstra Stadium
*The last time Queensland won the second game in Sydney after winning the opening game was back in 1989.
*The punters are backing NSW
*NSW were narrowly defeated at Lang Park and are unlikely to make the same mistakes again
*Several intentionally beneficial changes have been made to the side
*If Queensland won it just wouldn't be right!

QLD is gonna win, how many times do i need to repeat myself before u all get the point! THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT QLD IS THE BETTER TEAM AND WILL WIN!!!!!!!!!!
well for a better team they nearly lost the first game, even though it was at Lang Park, even though NSW had a halfback who played crappy and couldnt kick, even though QLD were winning 19-0 and even though NSW scored more tries

I thought QLD were kinda lucky in the first game

But this time if NSW are in trouble like they were in the first half in game 1, they have Anasta who can kick the shit outta the ball.

if QLD are to win, they need to be winning by more 13+ points at halftime

But kimi, the punters also backed NSW in the first match.

Qld started the week as favourites, but by Origin night, NSW had taken favouritism by quite a margin (I think they were paying $1.65 and Qld were $1.90 or so).

What the bookies say counts for absolutely nothing in State Of Origin. Absolutely nothing.

I managed to pick the first scorer on SO1 (Ty Williams), I'm tipping Cameron Smith tonight.

Copious, I also tipped Ty Williams :D

Tonight, I think NSW will score first, though.

Andrew Johns has always preferred to go out to his right because of Tahu and Gidley, so I'm choosing Mark Gasnier.

Yeah, $14. A $20 bet would have netted us $280... not a bad return.

However, I'm not a betting person. I think you have to be over 18 anyway, but I don't think I'll ever actually place bets on anything.

It's just fun for me to read about that sort of stuff.

If by which you mean it would break the secret contract with the media outlets covering the event who, for commercial gain, would rather the 3rd game be a decider rather than a dead rubber. Personally I think Queensland will win because they have a better team although I will be going for NSW
