Does anybody know where I can find an STI clinic, in the Sydney region? I think I've caught something.

I know I could go to a GP, but I want a specialist.

You could go to a family planning clinic, where they do that sort of thing for free (just search for it in the phonebook, theres quite a few of em) or just go to a GP.

Go to a GP.. definately.. they will get u tested and treated with the appropriate drugs..
usualli a specialist is when u caught a rare one.. like sumfing tropical.. and they will track u and ask about ure partners so they can get tested and hope fulli prevent a outbreak..

ummmm .. i kno this sounds stupid.. but dun hav sex till u get checked up.. for some unknown reason.. ppl still think the condom will protect.. but only certain STI's not all..

I would suggest GP too - but i'm guessing it's your family GP and you dont wanna go there?
Also FPA is really good so check them out.

Thanks people. The fpahealth site is a massive help as well. If anybody is interested, I'll be at the Fairfield clinic. Don't worry, no sex for me until I'm cured. I have to move quickly though, several events which may involve sexual adventure are moving as quickly as Prussians towards me.

Miranda, I've never really had a GP. I just go to the local one every now and then if I injure myself.

yeh i think anything like that would be rather nasty..specially if u dont know how u got it...

just like UTI (urinary tract infections) i had one coupler weeks ago n i dunno how i got it...just see a doc or watever n get it fixed up good luck!!

some of the incubation periods vary..
if u got pus coming out and burning while urinating.. chances are u got the claps
gonorrhea

if its pains.. mabbe u might have a UTI.. very uncommon in men but it happens..

lots and lots of STI's.. most are treatable.

lol, my penis hasn't transformed into a gross mutant cheesestick like they show you in Health classes. No visible symptoms but yes, pain when uriniating. Maybe I do have ghonorrea.

God, the names of STIs make them even more scary.

but yeh, leetom, by the sounds of it its a urniary tract infection, or UTI hehe easily treatable with some antibiotics

lol i had to pee in a cup wen i went to the doctors...but before hand i drank a whole bottle of water cuz i didnt know if id be able to pee...and wen i did it filled up so fast i nearly spilt it lol anyways too much info... do de doo...lol
