lel based on the % I was going to be all like : hey, I suggest you drop that english adv.
But then I realised you can't ;-;

You're obviously coping pretty well with 14 units. Also, not crazy or idiotic if you're coping well - only a stupid thing to do, if taking more units = you doing more badly. IMO anyways.

I did 14 units for three terms of year 11, meaning I had no study periods. Then I picked up MX2 and dropped chem and eng ext like they were hot. I went from having no spares to more than most of my friends, it was great.

My school is ranked 241....
I don't think that these marks are a good indication of how you will preform in the hsc. But to your original question; drop 2 subjects (ie 4 units). You're not getting any extra benefit from doing more than the minimum.

you're crazy, but those ranks are amazing :) i'm doing 12 units and ive been contemplating dropping IPT but i cant because my rank is too good :( i don't know how you're coping but good job !! but i reallly think you should at least drop down to 12 units because you're doing an extra 4 units that you don't need to do.

are there any subjects that you don't particularly like?
i would probably drop SOR.
you could consider bio or physics but i don't think you should.

My initial thought was SOR, but my teacher thinks that is the stupidest idea he's ever heard... And I need physics for the course that I want to do :/ so it's probably gonna be bio

Are you struggling with the workload at the moment? From the looks of your ranks, you are doing well across all of your subjects so it's up in the air in terms of what wont count. If you are comfortable with 14 then carry on I think - if you need to drop down, then go with the subject which you feel least comfortable doing.

The workload comes mainly from Maths, English and SOR. The rest of subjects are not too bad. I think I might just carry them all, considering there isn't too long left :)
Thanks!

If you are comfortable with that, then it sounds like a good decision.
