Do you pay attention in class now?

Also if you're having trouble with simultaneous equations and algebra, you are absolutely going to hate geometry of the parabola.

Good luck for tomorrow.

In my experience I often make stupid aglebra mistakes because I am nervous (It made me get a question wrong in my last assessment because I didn't carry the sign right)

Let y = y

x^2 + 5x + 1 = 7x + 9

Move everything to LHS

x^2 + 5x + 1 -7x -9 = 0

Simplify

x^2 -2x - 8 = 0

(x - 4 )(x +2 ) = 0

x= 4 x=-2

Substitute both x's into one equation to find y
