What techniques is everyone talking about for Stolen Children within the text apart from first-person in the individual stories and the structure of the book.

Its quite the gay text.

probably upon the individual responses and stances of the various "voices" after the initial stories, particularly the historians

stolen children is quite gay
im talkin bout Bird's editing techniques i.e she only includes stories which evoke empathy and r about tragedy and the majority of the opinions critique the gov 4 not saying sorry therefore Bird is manipulating the responders perspective.
trying to get the responder to view things the way she does.

look at Bird's context.

look at the purpose of the book -

look at the background to some of the historians i.e henry reynolds who wrote the afterword
