Hello,

I was defragmenting my secondary drive ( E: ) and it got more than half-way when a power failure occured.

The next times I load windows, it told me to wait while it does a "scan disk" on drive E. Of course, we can just press any key to by pass the process, but for a couple of times I let it scan.

Strangely now EVERYTIME I turn on my computer, windows wants drive E to be scanned and it never showed any errors in the disk even the first occasion it happened.

Based on annoyance, I'm looking forward to disabling it temporarily or any ways to stop this. It would be great if anyone can help me here.

Thanks,
VS

You can turn off Scan Disk using the Tweak UI utility.
Under the boot tab there is an option called Autorun Scandisk. Select 'Never' from the drop down list and you're all set.

Hope this helps. :)
