Street Art and Graffiti lovers - Sydney Stencil Festival (1 Viewer)

This weekend, Sydney's very first Stencil Festival will take place.

The exhibition will be held at Pine Street Creative Arts Centre - 64 Pine Street, Chippendale (a 10 minute walk from Redfern or Central Station)

The opening is on Thursday the 1st of June, from 6PM - 9PM. Admission is free.

Friday 2nd June, exhibition open 10AM - 5PM.

Saturday 3rd June, open 10AM. From 12 - 5PM, live spraying demonstrations by local artists, T'shirt printing and stencil workshops, live beats and more.

Sunday 4th June, 10AM - 5PM. Charity Auction of collaborative works at 3PM.

So if you're into street art, stencil art and graffiti.... and want to see a collection of fresh works by national and international artists, come along and join in the fun. In fact, why not make a day of it on Saturday.... get involved in a workshop, enjoy the demonstrations and music, check out the art.

Hey Sctr.... nah I'm not a stencil artist really, or at least I wouldn't call myself one. I mainly paint 'free hand'.... and do lots of mixed media stuff.

I do have a huge love of street and stencil art though, and draw a lot of inspiration from it.
