Structuring a World Order Essay (1 Viewer)

I have lots of info and sources and such,

I'm just kinda confused as to how I'm going to structure them.

I'm thinking of going in a kind of:

- Intro

- UN
-Parts of the UN (ICJ, GA, SC)

- Other International Bodies (ICC)

- Those other things (EU, AU, NATO)

- Effectiveness

etc.

Thoughts?

Man World Order annoys me.

I think it's all based on the question.
You might need to switch that around to suit whatever questions comes up.

My teach says the main things you will need to include:
ways of working for world order
the un - structure, pruposes, powers
regional federations eg (EU, NATO, WTO etc.
role of International courts and tribunals - ICC ICJ,
state sovereignity (mu fav part of a WO essay! lol)
Law reform

What sort of LCMd do you have - I'm a bit lost on that front!

LCMD for world order is slighly different than it is for other focus studies

legislation is treaties, declarartions, conventions and customary law
some imp ones:
UDHR 1948
treaty of westphalia 1648
genocide convention 1948
NPT 1978
and many others

cases- are case studies- these are very important- so like things like the genocide in rwanda 1994, Us invasion of iraq, peacekeeping in indonesia 1999, the recent case study of georgia etc.

media and documents- u could put in articles that talk about things like the effectiveness of the UN, the absence of reform of security council etc


legislation and case studies are most important though!

My biggest problem is linking them in effectively.

We did a study on Child soliders - CROC, CROC, CROC! - lol - and I know a bit about Radavan Karadoviz. I'll add those to it. Thanks again!
