So I’m going to science tuition next term because I’m currently averaging C’s and D’s in science haha… The thing I was worried about is that since I struggled in science in year 7 , I was worried that I may miss out on a lot of basic fundamentals that will be required in science tuition and in my learning at school which might affect my overall learning. What do I do?

Any advice will be appreciated 🙂

ohhh so you are in year 8 now. tbh i was in covid for year 8 science i fr would not stress too much but if you want to work harder to get higher grades go for it - agree about crash course and Edrolo if your school has it.

you've not missed much actually. i was y7 2020 and i literally did nothing (and i mean nothing) in science all year, i was just fooling around and i was flopping science in y7 and 8. i even moved schools from a very low ranking school to a selective school in y8, so that meant i was doing worse than a lot of the cohort there in y8. and then in y9 i locked in and i was top of the grade in y9 and 10. i joined science tutoring after y9

so yeah you can almost ignore a lot of y7 and 8 science and still be excellent at it in y9 and 10 if you work harder then. if you feel so far behind everyone else you dont understand anything being said in y9 that is where id start being concerned. at that point you should search up nesa syllabus for stage 4 science and go through videos on yt
