How are you guys paying for the student activity fees? If you're paying by check did you just make it out to Macquarie University or some other department?

I should stop leaving things so late

Hmm.. good question.
I just checked my reciept for the fees ( i paid by credit card ) but it didnt say much.

On the tax invoice for student charges ( activity fees + hecs ) the ABN is the same - so im guessing write it out to MACQ. Dont quote me

I also think this because at the bottom of both hecs fees and the activity fees - it says you can pay via httpnlinepayments.mq.edu.au

best bet to email them at : student_fees@mq.edu.au

One qeustion myself though

If indicated "DEFERED" on that White/Blue carbon copy upon enrolment day - can we change our minds to be a "FULL UP-FRONT FEE PAYER" and pay at the 25% discount before march 31st ?

I hope they havent debited the commonwealth already for hecs fees and i make the payment unknowningly with discount and end up double paying them in the long run.

i did it today at the student lincoln building place..
although the line was hella long so make sure you have someone to talk to

im not sure about the online payments thing
like, ive paid and bought stuff online - but the MQ one doesnt look secure at all
like - u just put in your student number , and the amount , then click proceed.

What happens if i choose $1 to pay - or accidently "overpay" ?
There appears to be no - "user profile" ; or "shopping basket" style system for online payments..

i paid it by phone just now. the only problem being they didnt ask for the invoice number...how will they kow that i paid for the activity fees or hecs?? maybe the amount..i dunno

I paidthe activity fees with my Mums credit card..

how do i check whether i paid it correctly??

i guess i was the only idiot who actually went up to Macq and paid on the last day then, that still took me half an hour tho, thx to other idiots who did the same, sigh...

hey i paid on friday as well... but at around 9am... spent around 5 mins waiting in line!! the queue at around 1pm was a shocker!!
