Hey

If anyone in interested in going on exchange either during school, or the year after yr 12, I work for EF exchange. We specialise in sending students on academic exchange to countries such as America, France, Canada, Spain, England and Germany among others.
I personally went on exchange during yr 10 to french Canada for a semester. You choose how long you want to go for (3months, 6months or a year) and then off you go!

Let me know if you need more information. I'm doing trials right now, but of course I need some distractions so either post here or PM me!

I was discussing this with a couple of friends, in class and with my bro the other day! I really wanna do an exchange and i wouldnt mind delaying the HSC for this experience. i dont entirely know how it runs, but would u be able to fill me in or PM me about it? And the costs!

thanks a bunch! btw, do u do Japan and Hong Kong?

Hey everyone,

Sugaryblue: you're more than welcome to come work at EF, but let me warn you that no money is involved! Plus, you have to have gone on exchange with EF! What happens is, I get a certain amount of points everytime I participate in an information day or something like that. Once I accumulate 500 points (which let me tell you, takes AGES) I am given a return flight to the country I went on exchange to.

Persephone and Capsicum: Sorry, no we don't do Belgium or asian countries. We go to the USA, Canada Great Britain, Ireland, France, Germany and Spain. If either of you still want more information, I can post you an application form if you want.

Basically, in short, you apply ( fill in a few forms, get a school recommendation etc), if you are accepted (most motivated ppl are) then you go for an interview. YOu will fill out a lot of stuff about yourself, which is eventually sent to your host country, and a family chooses you. There's obviously meetings in between about exchange (where you would HYPOTHETICALLY get to meet me :) ) and yeah, off you go!
If ur still interested, let me know!!
