Do i need to have my physical student ID card printed before i can attend labs/lectures? Asking because the appointments are booked out until feb 2 and im out of the country from feb 1 - 17 and have a lab first class 10am on the 18th

If i do need it, is it worth booking the appointment for 10am on 18th and then just losing the first bit of my first chem lab or is there a way i can get it printed in advance to pickup before feb 1

I think it’s normal for a lot of first years to have delays in getting their ID cards and things might be lenient in the first few weeks, maybe email the subject coordinator or teaching staff for the lab (if or once you know who they are), surely you’d be able to attend one lab without your ID

Ah I see, sounds good. Basically I won't get back until like 9pm on the 17th and my first class (CHEM1131 lab) on the 18th is at 10am so I can't get the card beforehand. I'll probably schedule and appointment between my 2 classes for that day. Don't wanna push it into the 19th since I have to use that day to catch up the classes I'll have missed on the 16th and 17th while in NZ.
