I am the proverbial voice in the crowd trying to get my message out over the top of the screams of the Labor Socialist bloc. Sometimes I use unorthodox methods of campaigning, such as an election video that uses dark or militaristic music. Sometimes I use photographs (in the case of the police being beaten up, it's the only one I could get that isn't blurred). I definitely use sensationalism as a marketing tool, because "Our Bloody SRC" is a lot easier to market than "People we elected to the SRC who beat up a bunch of students."
But in the end, my message is completely honest. I've seen students being beaten up for no other reason than that they happen to be a friend of somebody running in the election against the Party. On more than one occasion, I've BEEN one of those students attacked for it. If this isn't bad enough, then let's never forget - they financially supported the Falun Gong cult, responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent people. I take this personally, as any one of you would when it's YOUR friends and relatives dead at the hands of the cult.
