godamn..i was all excited that they'd changed the webpage so that it didn't have newcastle uni crap all over it and pushed the login part down heaps, BUT THEN IT WOULDN'T OPEN MY INBOX..annoyance :mad1:

Ahhh... seems to only work on Internet Explorer.

Odd, considering the Uni now primarily supports Firefox.

it worked on mozilla for me the first time around, but i tried a second time (just now) and i got the same error message.

No...just like you don't have to log out of msn, hotmail, blackboard, etc, when at uni...it automatically clears all the crap when you log out of the computer.

unread emails could be at the top before, you just had to change the settings

Also, I had issues with it from home last night, you may need to delete previous settings from your computer.....

Hi there,

The problem is possibly related to old pages in your web browser's cache. The fix is fairly simple, clear out your internet browser cache.

In Internet Explorer this can be done by:

"tools" -> "internet options" -> general tab -> click "delete files" and then click "ok".

This can be achieved in Firefox by going to edit -> preferences -> privacy

Select "Clear" on the cache line.

i just followed those exact instructions and managed to freeze the web page..fun..looks like i'm destined not to see my studentmail :|
