Hey everyone. How many hours of study has everyone been doing? I've been trying to do seven hours a day, with 1-2 days a week off....

Hmm.. the answer to your question would be... NOT ENOUGH! .. hehe.. I feel so unbelievable guilty but i just don't have any motivation.. and when i do, it only lasts for about an hour, then i need a break! lol..
Although the fact that the hsc is only a week away is a bit of a worry!

You people are falling into the myth "The more you sweat, the more you get".
A friend of mine 'studied two hours a day' and he got 99.7

Im trying to get into a study routine now that uni exams are coming up...dunno how im going to do it tho.
During the HSC I did about 2 hours then a break then another 2 hours...
Whats the best way for studying for maths subjects?
For Maths I just keep doing practise questions (dunno is u have them in uni) and watever u dont understand look up the answer or ask ur teacher... i usually get 80-90% for 2U Maths... (if that makes a difference :p)

There is nufing to math other than do a billion questions and prac tests.

Umm people have breaking points and thats around 1.5 hrs (time of a normal school period) ...after that u get realy bored, u fidget and u can't concentrate. Yet if u push your self harder you can surpass that point. Takes out 30 min to pass that period so when u hit the 2 hr mark ur be on level 2 then u can go all the way for 4 hrs.

Don't know if this happens to everyone but it does work for me...just keep on pushing. The first time i did it...i puked right after but i did it the next day and then next and ye getting better now.

How_Dude...you friend must be really smart or just really lucky. 2 hrs a day is not enough....

Always remember though, the effectiveness of your study is far more important than how many hours you rack up.

it varied from like 1 hour a day to 6 for the last 2 weeks
but i think for this week i will try do like 6 a day
there is only a limited amount of stuff u can learn though
its getting a bit repeptitive
but i know wen i walk into english i will have to thinka bout wat to write, it won;t be rdy to be recited word for word

but yeh, i doubt that many ppl learn essays word for word etc

Well right now, It fluctuates between someimes doing 3 to 4 hours, to 8. I did miss out on a whole 2 days of studying though to be fair, because of my birthday - but otherwise, this is how i've gone since the beginning of the holidays.
