No, sticking notes on my wall is a big no no and would probably drive me crazy.

Writing notes based on the syllabus is an effective way of studying and ensures that you study all that you need.

Notes, concept maps, equations, essay structures etc stuck up on my wall infront of my desk helps me heaps. I always refer to it when I sit at my desk, and I've virtually memorised stuff that I wouldn't have imagined memorising.
Pretty handy, shouldn't leave it until just exam times to stick stuff up on your walls. Anywho, that's what I do, everyone has different methods.

write 95+ on 0128391023219 bits of paper.
put it as ur computer background..
then you'll be less tempted to waste your life away..
I'm not sure if this works...
i'm too scared to try.. it might..
and i kinda like my bos.org obsession.

I kinda like your bos.org obsession too

I reckon that method wouldn't work for me, I'd get pissed off eventually seeing 95+ most places I'd go and just tear the pieces of paper down. Also, I couldn't be fucked writing it down 0128391023219 times. Maybe 1281247501 times, but not that many.

my brother used to stick stuff on his walls.

so i tried it.

it doesn't work for me. it just turns into wall paper and i never end up looking at it. flashcards are more convienient. i hardly look at them either, but i feel more pressure to read them.
with the paper on walls, i dnt even notice they're there...

i have a whiteboard..
but it still has the month of january divided up into study times etc.. [which i never followed through with..]
i must rub it off and write something constructive..
but i find it hardly useful... like pari- its wallfeature-ish.

No point sticking syllabus points on your wall - the sheer amount of writing would drive you crazy :p Plus, most of the points are "explain" sort of thing, so you kinda need more detail than a few words, which is pretty much how much you can manage to remember from a mindmap.

Yeah I'm a perfectionist too, my study notes have to be set out neatly lol, then from that I just scribble down rushed notes on another paper.
