pretty easy stuff...
but yes...i have pretty much forgoten there was an exam tommoz
haha then i have like a whole week and a half till art...so yea...im pretty chill now actually :)

Pfft its aural, you just say what happens and they give you marks, i've prob done about 3 hours overall just runnning over terms and stuff but i dont really car ebout it coz of modern the next day

lol. You lucky music 1 people. Still, music 2 is all about concepts as well, lol. There's not much difference, just that our questions are shorter and we have melodic dictation and an essay.

I hate Aural - only because I have no idea how hard they mark?

But I don't know. I know the 'concepts' pretty well it's just getting it down on paper I think.

They usually choose classical pieces for pitch. I'm assuming there would be a classical piece in there.

i dont want like...some hard techno peice...those are always shit...and i cant stand techno...so that kills me even more

ive started now. man, im so confused - ive had 4 teachers for the past 2 years and theyve all taught differently. i have no idea how to actually set it out.

I use:

Intro: sum piece up, refer to the question etc...

Write up the general things referring to the question expanding on techniques etc.

After about a 1 1/2 pages of that I generally draw up a table and write the piece into sections, ternary- A B A etc..

Then I generally write out whatever else hasn't been said and conclude.

Stuff aural. I'm going for +25 cause these will be my two worst units. Not studying at all, will leave asap. Need to study for Modern.

yeah it was a hard exam i thought. that prokfiev piece about duration, maybe its just me but i really didnt know what to write.

i've had 5 teachers in the past two years haha

oh and omg i completely fucked up the melodic dictation! WOW!
