I did a science research assignment on this in yr 10, I'm trying to remember what I wrote...

Um, I think classical and instrumental music is good. Stuff with a regular beat is supposedly the most beneficial, but I don't think that extends to rock/dance/rap type stuff.

Baroque music is said to increase concentration and be good for studying. So stuff like j.s Bach, Handel, Vivalidi, Corelli, Scarletti etc etc. Apart from the fact baroque is one of the best genres anyway.

Don't study with any music. It's always going to be a distraction. Concentrate 110% on the study.

Opera? Seriously.
Highly instrumental musics plus soft tunes are favourable. Canon in C/D is the best! Or Music of the night (has voices) by the Phantom... is really cool.

If i listen to music whilst i am studying my mind wanders away from study. so when i am studying music is off and i am focused on one thing only.

Trying to think of a hardstyle song with absolutely no words. Oscillators, Zany, Technboy and Noisecontrollers alll have one or two words, who do you listen to?

Colours of the hardstyle has an edited version where only say defcon.1.
Pulsedriver-whistle song.

Overall a few little words don't bother me, But i avoid the speeces and the ones with many singers.

I love First Breath After Coma so much. I've never studied to it, though.

EVANESCENCE's album 'Fallen'!!!

And yes, anything with piano is suitable.

Check out Pink Floyd as well!
