Haha, maths definitely isn't my favourite subject but it's my most difficult so I start with that to get it out of the way.

Why do you hate english? English won't kill you. Go out there and appreciate the art of literature. ;) Remember, no matter how many units you take, English will be part of the uai. The HSC is a journey itself....

I appreciate literature in the form of Jane Austen. ;)

It's so hard to score marks in english. That is why I dislike it.

How Much Time Is Spent on Schoolwork (ie study, homework, reading English novels, revising, researching, assignment-ing, Bored of studies etc)???

Is it broken up into parts and if so how?? (eg 30 minutes on English reading, 1 hour on maths.)
Err... study? What's that? lol...

I always sucked at study. I think I averaged about an hour of schoolwork a day, however 90% of that was spent on major works (EE2 and Textiles). That being said, I did a minimum of "studying" subjects - I basically didn't study for General Maths, and crammed for Ancient History and Textile theory. English was always fine :)

I have got a studyplan that was prepared during the holidays as a timetable. The trouble is trying to sticking to it, because I always have times where the school work comes in moutain-high stacks (in which case I have to postpone any study) and other times where school work is almost nil. (in which case I have some time to study)
Also, in that timetable I put evenly distributed times for each subject which has failed to work because I spend more time on some subjects than others in homework and study.

I have a 100% flexible study plan. :D
While I'm on my way home from school each day, I recall all the homework and study that I want myself to do, like assignments, study for assessments, normal homework, then i organise it the way i like. It's done all in my head.

I would hope a few hours a night, but it's not overally necessary. As long as you're getting your work done, and learning at the same time.
I agree. It isn't necessary to be studying hours each night at this point in time. The key is balancing between study and socialising, as others have mentioned. It is also good to have a job during the HSC (maybe work weekends and take time off for a few weeks during the HSC exams); this will give you a break from studying.

As long as you understand each subject, it isn't necessary to study a lot each night.
