sounds like all colonisers
Do arabs brainwash their children into hating themselves for arabs' history of imperialism?
, lets not forget how france and britain still control all of africa's economy
They don't "control all of their economy". Some countries have French currency - those are the countries that DON'T have a history of debasing their currency until it's worthless.
The west doesn't control Africa's economy -
they prop it up. As poor as Africa is, it would be so much poorer without the west. If Europe cut Africa off, they would starve, they would have no medicine or medical supplies and their economies would collapse.
and how most european countries have a long history of brutally murdering the countries they colonise
I don't know how you "murder" a country
But the striking thing about European colonisation is precisely how non-violent it was
Compare it to arab imperialism, ottoman imperialism, mongol imperialism etc. and it's much more peaceful. It's even more peaceful than africa was before colonisation and after.
One of the most violent colonies in African history was Belgian congo, but almost all of the violence was committed by the congolese against other congolese. They got given guns, and they used to them to wage violent ethnic vendettas against their enemies. So it was the blacks doing the murdering, not the whites.
In India, the MUSLIM invaders killed and enslaved tens of millions (or more) hindus, and the bloodshed stopped only once the British Raj was established.
basically every religion or country probably has a past or present of taking advantage of other countries or religions, thats not exclusive to middle eastern or muslim people, nor does it make it okay when the western world does so
If arabs support violent conquest and feel ZERO guilt for it, why should the Israelis be any different?
. You’re missing the entire point of the argument to end the occupation and instil a ceasefire.
October 7 didn't instill a ceasefire - it caused more violence in gaza than at any point in history.
How exactly was this supposed to lead to an end of occupation?
