if i were you ,i d stop studying school certificate and start studying hsc material,sc is a waste of time,i did barely any study in yr 10 and got band 6s in maths and science

then i walked into hsc thinking it would be piss easy like yr10,its now that i realised i shouldve studied yr 11 and 12 then instead piss easy shit in yr10

There's no point studying it in year 10 cuz it'll probably change, by year 11 tho I would just focus on year 12.

Well the point is so that you get a high uai, and can get into the uni course you wanna get into.

i know a couple of guys who do that at tutoring, now they have like a whole year to study hsc, heaps of james ruse people do that as well,instead of accelerating their subjects such as doing 4 unit maths at tutoringin yr 11

For only a week of my life will anyone give a damn about what UAI I get. Even then, it won't be important, because I can always study at a later date.

I'd be earning more by the time I was 35 as a bulider than going to uni and studying medicine (for example's sake).

Not necessarily true, and you also have to consider the lifestyle, not just the money.
My dad runs a water/gas/electrical/escavation company, but I don't want to do that... I've gone to uni to do what I wanna do, despite being able to make more money doing something I wouldn't like doing.

Not necessarily true, and you also have to consider the lifestyle, not just the money.

The lifestyle would be quite good. Decent hours, doing work that'd not only keep me fit but also not stress me out too much - and I wouldn't need to waste 8 years of my life specialising in a particular field, earning only the minimum wage at the local supermarket as a checkout operator.

not saying this will be you but i kno heaps and heaps of people who say they will work harder "next yr" or next term and then when it comes to the HSC they like OH SHIT,

if u don't start early and dont have the right attitude and just keep delaying your time saying ill do better next time or study later, then you never change, because it keep turning into a pattern and its a really bad habit ! i use to be like that too in my previous school years prior to yr11.. and just because your undertaking subjects you like, doesnt me you like every topic in it, like modern history is one of my favourite subjects but i hated a majority of the stuff we learnt in the prelim course ..

anyways you have to start now ! btw SC is nothing anyways, but its weird because it annoys me that my friends in yr10 are still bummin around at this point, evn tho there comin up .. oh well

I work hard in the subjects I like, so I should be ok. I know my stuff in English and History, and I do well.

Looking at the stuff in the prelim courses, I think I'll enjoy it, so I suppose I'm one of the few lucky ones.

I'll breeze through the English and History papers, but I will probably struggle through Science, Maths and Geography. THe difference between me and the next person is that I know SC means nothing.

actually doing med at uni is the best job you can get,after graduating you start on a salary of about 50 grand which then rises up to 100 grand in your 3rd year of graduating,and if you go on to get masters and do surgery you still get the same salary as you would with out the masters working in a hospital,but when you finish surgery your pay exceeds 100 grand by far,thus by the time you reach about30 your pay would already exceed any business apprentice(the advantage of this is that you know you would definietly receive this pay,unlike setting up a business you have to get loans to start you off and you don't know if you'll suceed)


From experience uasually people will choose subjects that they like of course ,but you won't like all of them which is really rare

easy just think of a story before hand, any story and just manipulate it to fit the question your story should contain
