I recently got the sims2 nightlife in the mail.
AND IT WONT INSTALL!!!!!
everytime i put the cd in it comes up

A problem occured when trying to transfer the file D:\Autorun\Autorun.bmp from the media. Do you want to retry to copy the file or cancel the installation?

ive searched everywhere looking for an answer to fix this but have found nothing. ive reinstalled The sims2 and UNI and have deleted all hacks and add on shit in case there was a nasty bug and it still wont install. Meh

Any idea??? please help.

thats just an error with the CD running automatically. try going into My Computer, right click on the Drive with the disc in it and click "Explore". There should be a file there calleed Setup or something, click that and see if it works.

Well if you got it from an EB Games Shop- you can take it back, (if you bought it under 7 days ago.. and i think its like 2 weeks for faulty games)
Try another copy.. otherwise you might have to unistall Both Sims 2 and Uni Expansion Packs.. Try RE-installing Sims 2 Then Nightlife, then Uni.. (unless you have to have Uni to use Nightlife)
