no he wont

he'll be pleased he did it, because now maths will contribute (most likely) 4 units towards his UAI, rather than 3, with 2 units allocation to each of MX1 and MX2 which typically have very high scaling...

yeah... but 4 highly scaled units (and there's no doubt namu is going to own maths) don't compare to 2 perfect units! and 3u would let namu focus on his weaker (if he even has any ^_^) subjects.

and yeah, i'm awesome right :D:D

4 unit scales so well... even if you get something like say 76 in MX2, it scales better than a 2 unit Maths mark of 94... sucks but it's true.

lol, from 2008 table, it's a 78 in 4u > 92 in 2u

For those that were wondering, MX2 does scale incredibly well. my 74 in 4u was counted over my band 6 in Ancient History (I can prove it).

so a 78 in 4u > 92 in 2u would certainly seem to be quite within the realms of reality.

assumed ext maths wouldnt count, went in there with close to no prep and didnt give a fuck on how we all went. came out thinking we all majorly failed
ended up getting 44, and it did count towards my uai
oops. maybe shoulda tried....
this guy is a fukin retard, you chose an extension subject and didnt put any effort in, no one made u pick the extension. extensions are ment to be for people who are good, not retards like u

general maths was ranked higher than my music 1.

got 89 in gmaths and 90 in music.

Found that a bit suprising that music was so poorly scaled.
you really think that music was going to scale high, its all creativity, not much brains to it and general maths its fairly easy as well (from the papers ive seen its a slightly harder school cert test, pretty much a repeat of yr 10)

I haven't gotten my UAI yet - but I am 99% certain that my Mathematics (Adv) HSC mark will not count towards my UAI, unless I drop 4U maths. But yeah I don't regret doing it - because it's given me a strong foundation which is needed for 3U/4U maths.

Music 2 scales relatively well at the top

I dropped a 95 in maths for an 87 in ext2 and dont regret it. I could have easily done better though.
