I have choosen SE as submajor. Anyone has done the subject 31077 Software Engineering Fundamentals? The description of this subject in the handbook indicate that there are two portions. issues portion and mathematics portion. I was wondering that whether the mathematics portion in the Software Engineering is hard? How hard is it?

and also another question:
31040 Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery
31099 Distributed Database Programming and Administration
31750 Intelligent Agents in Java
31005 Artificial Intelligence

Are these all programming subjects? I like programming subjects because the final exams are Multiple Choice questions.

Thanks in advance.

"Software Engineering" as a submajor? That is not possible, its a 5year degree, you are doing something else which should have a different name :p. Than again don't know till I see the subject number :p

31040 - This subject teaches you how to collect data, I doubt that there's programming here.

31099 - Should have practical stuff, building databases, writing functions, controling a large database etc.

31750 - Its Java so you can expect to write code. It would be crazy to do something Java related and not write any code.

31005 - Don't think you'll write any real code but I could be wrong.

Note: I haven't done any of the subjects so I could be wrong
