1. Never, ever, never, use the outside pockets of a jacket. You will destroy the shape of the jacket by doing this. WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE JACKET?!
But what about your pocketwatch? (or, more contemporarily, a slip of paper, or whatver?)

Didn't think of the deforming factor. Still frustrating, though!

seremify007 summed it up; the internal pockets are for using. but you still shouldn't put anything to bulky in them.

Wow! I'm impressed. Where from? -- or does PC have their own stores...? (Shows how down with suits I am; warning about buying ones with fake pockets, then asking about where they sell them... ;)) (BTW the fake-pocketed ones were from Roger David for $150. Avoid.)
Well Myer had 25% off all suits at the time, so that brought the price down from $800 to $600.

And there is nothing wrong with pinstripes. Not only are they actually very much in fashion at the moment, but subtle pinstripes on a decent suit look very sharp. Of course, use your judgment --

Good, subtle pinstripes:

Too bold pinstripes:

Shocking pinstripes:

Haha yeh for a low-level job don't wanna bring out the super bold pinstripes- I've seen even more subtle pinstripes than that- as in they are barely noticable... but anyway, make sure you pick a suitable tie as well to wear with it.

Don't wear brown unless you're a long term investor.

It's a first suit so black is better as its more universal.

BTW Moonlight hit the nail on the head with the just right pinstripes. Especially good is the first shot where a blue shirt/tie is also used. Notice how very modern, sophisticated, powerful and even tall it makes him look.

As a note though a bold person can get away with the 'too bold pinstripes'.

Btw if you're from a priv shool you could wear your school uniform + blazer (if it looks really good).

Good stuff... I think it's more important for a suit to fit well than for it to be flashy/nice design. Hope yours fits well! People have often complimented my suit because it fits well- but they do not know it was a cheapo <$200 suit.
