Setting up a database for work, never used access before, got a couple forms and tables. Now I have no idea how to do a sum expression. Basically we're seeing a bunch of patients, bill them etc, i enter them all in but after all that i want a total of how much we earned off all the patients to be entered into a table. Can anyone explain how to do this (simply, please, access confuses the shit outta me)

oh lol i didn't read it properly. my bad.
i think you do a query, import the fields you need, and add a function as a new expression in a new field.
right click and get the expression builder.

i will have to look at one of my past databases for school next time i access the school network
