Summer internships for double degree people? (1 Viewer)

Are people doing a combined business/law degree able to apply for summer internships in their 2nd or 3rd year for business jobs? The way the combined degree is organised means that I actually finish business within 3 yrs and can graduate from it and continue with law or drop it altogether... since im in 3rd year of a combined bus/law degree can I apply for these business summer programs? Technically I'm not in my penultimate year, but I'm almost finished my business subjects.

Short answer is yes. I'm in the 3rd year of a 5-year double degree and I'm doing a summer internship in Finance this year. Generally, companies want 'real' penultimates so they can pipeline them into the graduate program, but some are happy to take on a few pre-penultimates. Others won't even let you apply - when I tried to apply for ANZ and put in my graduation date, it simply refused to let me progress.
