can someone explain this syllabus dot point?? please?

Process information to identify some of
the metals, metal alloys and compounds that have been
identified as exhibiting the property of
superconductivity and their critical temperatures.

btw ain't u ... already done ur hsc?!

there are type1/type2 super conductors...
type1: heavy metal which has their critical temp at few kelvin
type2: rare earth metal ceramics (eg, ybco, yuttrium, barium, carbon oxygen)
as i recall having significantly higher critical temp and more than one critical temp..
