anyone got any good supplementary material for telling the truth or changing self??

"Don't let her see me cry" by Helen barnacle is a good autobiography
- her family breaks up
- she gets addicted to drugs
- gets caught smuggling sumthin
- she finds out she's pregnant days b4 she's sent to prison
- her child motivates her to recover from drug addiction
- then, she becomes a psychologist doing speeches and stuff for other drug-addicted pple

but the thing is.... my place is already a autobiography so i cant use it... i mite be able to just use it but i cant include as a supp material.... my teacher said not to use the same text type coz then u hab less to compare about and stuff and it will mark u down on the language teech

my teacher specifically told us not to use prescribed text... it marks u down so dun use it!!!!

if u check the boardofstudies website u can get alist of prescribed texts

look in the Excel books if your realli desperate (study guides and such)
they GIVE u some supplementary texts on changing self (i.e poems, short narratives etc)

tried the excel book and this other but some of the supp is prescribed text for standard and extension so i cant use it...
if anyone has god newspaper articles or something plz tell me

Changing perspectives related material

Hey guys,
for any related material dont use stuff on the sylabus for other courses (like standard) the BOD doesnt like that much....

as for the changing perspectives related material...you can use:
the movie or the book "not without my daughter" by betty mahmoody

the movie "the 6th sence"
the movie "the shawshank redemption"
the movie "philladelphia"

any newspaper articles or photof from sept 11.

me eng teacher was saying that we should find something thats diff to everybody else... like telling the truth everyone was doin the cheryl kernot and the children overboard thing and she was saying that she kinda got sick of hearing about it....

i asked about using wild swans for telling the truth and she was saying that mite be ok to us but i dunno....

another good supp for telling the truth is a video called Tom and Viv im not sure whether anyone has seen it b4 but its about TS Elliot and his wife
