I was just wondering whether anyone could help me with this dotpoint:
Gather, process and present secondary information to discuss how shortcomings in available communication technology lead to an increased knowledge of the properties of materials with particular reference to the invention of the transistor.
I'm a bit confused......is it just asking to talk about the problems associated with thermionic vacuum tubes and how they were overcome by the implementation of solid state devices?
