Hey, i was just wondering if someone could double check this for me.

y=3tan2x, (0 less than or same as x which is lessthan or same as pi)

how would that look? i drew up a drawing of it in paint for you guyz 2 c.

I think the text book might be wrong, i am using 'Excel HSC maths, topic by topic, exam questions', the question is on page 76 question 3 part c.

ok y = 3tan2x, peroid = pi/b, since b = 2 than peroid = pi/2



so pretty much at a tan graph devide everything by 2 like the atsmopte (srry for spelling) would be at pi/4 instead of pi/2....got it

k thanx heaps for your help guyz, i just dont understand how a text book can be wrong, especially one that is famous such as excel, cant the dude who wrote it get in trouble for giving false information?

If it is first edition then yes there are usually errors, all textbooks have error.
