I'm glad my school doesn't have teacher strikes. We're behind enough as it is.

I'm not a religious person but I see the friday strike as divine intervention. It gives me 3 much needed days to do a physics assessment that would otherwise be due on Friday :D

How about this -

Friday: Strike
Sat/Sun: -
Mon: Retreat
Tues:Retreat
Wed: Retreat

And we had a pupil free two weeks ago...we're missing a fair amount o' school.

I heard that the teachers are taking more strikes for the upcoming weeks... is that true?

yeah that's what i've heard . . . and they're striking because they haven't got a pay rise yet, which I think they should!

(and the government thinks that they might have to pay the teachers from money currently allocated to school funding - ppft!)
