Depends on what you mean by 'good; and 'worth'. ;)

what sort of teaching are you wanting to do??

I'm doing Primary.. and enjoying it,,

just be aware of some of the staff... who have never been in a classroom, but think they know everything....

I nearly gone and done finished me my teachingness at uni.

It really does depend on what sort of teacing you're after. Primary teaching, by all accounts, sounds fun. In secondary teaching you have to work though.

i have a friend who is doing high school teaching for humanities subjects like geography, economics, legal studies, commerce and law & society....she likes it but it seems to be a lot more work comparatively than say a commerce degree
she always has readings and stuff

Communications.

I've only just started though.
I am still staying with it at this stage but i'm increasingly becoming interested in teaching. I'd either wanna be a highschool history teacher or librarian or a primary school teacher.

you cant really just be a history teacher, they advise you to teach other subjects, cos schools usually dont wanna hire someone who only teaches one subject. i mean you can if you want but its not a good idea.

I don't think you can do a History double major for teaching at Newcastle, you have to do at least one minor, but most of it works together and the people I know doing it think it is pretty interesting.

SJ, sure. :)
