hi. Is there such a technique called 'cumulation'?
Its a technique where the author says a number of words in a row that all mean the same thing, so it has a cumulative effect on the audience.
e.g. the waves crashed, rolled, battered, bashed and smashed the waves (that was a crap one lol)
