lolwat

Not many people can play 5 hours of tennis without getting hurt

Injuries are an unavoidable part of sport. The amount of physical strain athletes go under is not something a normal person can fathom. The fact that they are still in one piece is amazing.

They are but you have to also take into account that due to the sheer amount of sport they are currently engaged in (it's a whole tournament they're competing in!), they are exposing themselves to a greater degree of risk of injury.

For example, currently I have no major physical sport problems, but I am not doing sport intensely atm.

However, when I was training swimming hardcore, I often had back and shoulder injuries arising from the training and racing.

But he's making a comeback!

Re: [TENNIS] The Official 2014 Australian Open Thread

He looks a lot less determined and pumped.

I feel that he may have lost a lot of momentum and now he's slowly getting back into it. Not sure if he went a bit easier in the second set when he knew that Nadal had a back injury. He wasn't churning out those amazing backhands and his serves weren't the usual 200km/hr+.

Those serves are getting a little bit faster. Still painfully slow though.

I don't think he necessarily needs to be playing big shots ATM anything that makes nadal run across a lot would work and wear down rafa easy

I'm curious, who do you think is better looking.

Nadal or Wawrinka?
