How freaking expensive is it just to do an Arts degree? They say "oh, you don't really need this... but if you don't get it your marks go through the toilet! And what's with the $30 course readers which are thinner than the one I paid $16.50 for last semester (same subject and everything!)

hrmm i m not so sure about teh textbooks, like ancient has none, the again i guess i did fork out $300 for an oxford classical dictionary last semester......and other then my course readers ive only bought one text book for $20! So i gess it depends on your courses!

ive sorta given up buying textbooks, i dont read them, so theers no piont to them!

Actually there are textbooks for ancient if you read the fine print of the course reader... and I forked out the money for an OCD too- I'm sooo broke! Then there's classical civilisation, and the lexicon I bought for Greek (anyone who knows me now knows who I am... )
