I mean, if you want to act like you're a stupid asian, you'll be treated like one. I know you're not stupid from reading your posts (and I'm not a racist), but someone who justs looks at one of your messages will think think differently.

who?, dont tell me youve got your own reality show as well... sheesh

and goodtogo... do you get paid to take photos? how can i be a photo taker? thats way better than being a mentor... i mean you could save all the photos onto a usb and stalk them... not that i would or anything...
Man...that's kinda....crazy. You can't actually save the pics.

But they probaby should do a stalker psych test before giving people my job. Lots of confidential info.

And yeah, I get paid a lil over $20 an hour. It's a job I got as a result of working at the library. Applications for the library are at the end of the year on the Careers website. Chances of being accepted are very very slim.

dunno if this has already been mentioned, but is it necessary to buy/get your hands on all these books that have been listed?!

someone told me that some texts are simply recommended but others are essential. i don't wanna waste $$$ buying a textbook that'll be opened only once.

you don't need all the books on the list. the question is which ones do you need. and you'll find that out by asking people who've done the unit before (or the lecturer, but they set the recommended text so might not be that helpful).

under "status" it will say text ( = essential) or recommended (= recommended). *note, essential = we'll tell you that you should buy it but you're not necessarily going to touch it even once.

i can think of worse places to work...maccas..really any fast food joint, from what im told retail sucks too...in fact hes got a pretty cushy job....
retail's fantastic, I've worked in a factory, a cafe, EB, and now a specialist retailer- the cafe was ok despite the washing up, EB was cool because all I did was talk to people all day, and now I get like a week's worth of cash in commission a month, making my total earning around $25 an hour.

Don't put words in mouth. I just said that a LOT of people apply so they usually accept like 1% of applicants. But yeah, library work's good. I guess kiddies who've never been to uni might think of it as very bookish, but people constantly tell me how much they want my job.

And like Shell's said, it's cushy and pays well. It's on campus and I get to pretty much choose my own hours. Better than working with food or coffee or in a tiny store. I also do casual work at a boutique workplace litigation law firm in the city so I think I got it reasonably good.

Your lack of computing skills was a major selling point. LOL.

Hmm...I'm afraid I'll have to pass up your offer of 'seks'. I already got someone for that. :p
