Textual Integrity is consistency in form, lanuage, and structure.

Form: is the text dedicated to being a historical text, or is it a mish-mash of historical and autobiographical? If it's an autobio, does it have family photos, family tree?

Language: relates to form. Is it objective all the way? Is it in 3rd person narration all the way? Or does it jump between objectivity and subjectivity?

Structure: is there a sense of progression? Is this progression, more or less, at a constant speed? I.e, not documenting childhood then jumping to old age in the next chapter.

Despite inconsistencies in the aforementioned stuff, is the purpose ambigous?

That's about it.

textual integrity is how well a text stands up to different readings right?

like if her poetry can only really be considered relevant from one set of contexts/values it doesn't possess much textual integrity

i'm pretty sure that's what it means

hmm sorry again..but so does it mean a text which has various readings, or a text with cohesive language and narrative techniques, structure, voice etc?

In my opinion a text which has textual integrity is one which has maintained its form, facts and purpose over an extended period of time or many rewrites eg Tates rewrite of King Lear had little textual integrity as the purpose of the ending was altered.
But thats just my opinion.
